Jenny's fave settings

I've been lucky enough to work across many counties, and in many, many different types of venues and settings over the past (almost) decade, and so I find it very hard to pinpoint a favourite venue.

I do have a few favourite styles of setting though, and I've listed these below:

Treehouses

I mean, there would be a real wow factor if you received a wedding invite with "Tree House" on it as a venue right?  Well, I'm lucky enough to be recommended supplier at a few, and there really are some cracking options out there.  There is a real sense of calm to be literally amongst the trees, and it is a great option for nature lovers and those wanting a really memorable day.

Walled Gardens

These magical and enchanted walled garden settings are found across the South, but I am recommended celebrant at a few of the absolute best and I LOVE them!

To be in a secluded and private setting, surrounded by gorgeous planting, and with a view beyond the walls, but knowing nobody outside can see what is going on, well its a pretty special vibe if you ask me.  Decorated elegantly with great lighting, and low key adornments on the tress, it is transformed at night into the most romantic and whimsical space and it guarantees to leave you and your guests with wonderful memories.

Settings by the Water

I'm a huge lover of waterside settings and work at a huge number all across the South of England.  There are new and exciting ones popping up all the time too, and venues that perhaps hadn't originally planned to be wedding settings, are now gracing the pages of magazines and online platforms.  They offer everything from industrial vibes (think old mills and brewery buildings) to stately homes and boathouse or jetty's.

What an incredible backdrop to your big day!

Weddings at Home/Garden Weddings

The most intimate and personal setting there is.  Focussing on your own home or family/friends place of residence to be your wedding setting is incredibly unique and just by the nature of this setting, it will be unlike anyone else's big day.  It will be all yours, and all about YOU.

There is a lot to consider when opting for this style of venue, but ultimately, once all is planned, it can have such a wonderful and bespoke feel to your special celebration.

I specialise in these kinds of weddings as I have a wealth of wedding planning knowledge and experience so I can also help when putting your plans together.

Landmark Buildings

I've worked everywhere from farms and barns to luxury and landmark buildings and I have to say, the landmark venues are such memorable experiences!

I've been in Royal buildings, quirky venues, and this year I'm at the Tower of London for an elopement!  There are so many different kinds of setting, especially in City locations, and you can create something spectacular knowing that everyone will never forget your day.

Vineyards

These have always been on my top list of fave venues, and I've been fortunate to step into the most incredible settings in this Country.

I work with real creative types in this kind of setting, and they use wine barrels as tables, empty bottles as table number holders, corks on boards for table plans, and much more besides!  You can even adopt or buy a wine and receive bottles of wine made from the grapes that you own.  Having wine served to guests that has been made on site just adds to the sense of occasion too.

Your wedding photos amongst the vines can be really special also and the whole atmosphere of this type of venue just puts people at ease, and evokes a wonderful party vibe.
