A Stunning Luxe Summer Wedding at Blenheim Palace!

What a glorious day for my couple who celebrated their love and commitment to one another, out on the lower water terrace at Blenheim Palace.

The teams worked wonders as the already glorious space was turned into a fairytale wedding setting!  The skies were blue, the sun shone brightly, and the water glistened in the background, and after what seemed like a magic wand had been waved over the venue, we were ready to welcome the groom and his groomsmen into the space.

I had a run-through of some of the key details and then welcomed the bridesmaids and Maid of Honour (the bride's sister), who would be translating part of the ceremony in Arabic.

Everyone looked sensational, and as guests began arriving, the atmosphere began to build, and a sense of anticipation filled the air.  A breeze swept across the space, providing some much-needed respite from the blazing sun, and soon we were ready to begin the opening address.

Guests were all seated, and making the most of their hand fans, and there was a sea of people wearing sunglasses in front of me.  I welcomed everyone, helped to set the tone, and we were then ready to welcome the bridal party.

As the music began, the first of the bridesmaids entered from either side of the upper terrace and descended the staircases to the water terraces.  As the bride came into view, the groom was full of emotions, and as they were united at the front, it was a real privilege to witness the sheer joy and delight as they were able to hold hands and look into each other's eyes.

Taking to the stage, we were all facing their guests, and so it instantly made for a much more intimate feel, and for them to be able to see everyone smiling and laughing was just perfect.

The ceremony unfolded, and stories were shared, families were united, and friends gathered to witness these two incredible people make some wonderful promises to each other.  I also shared details about the venue, its history and connections with some famous figures, including Sir Winston Churchill, who was born and who married at Blenheim.

We spoke of marriage, what it means to them as a couple, and heard from the bride's mum with an amazing speech.  The feeling was one of love and happiness as their guests supported the couple with promises too.

As we brought things to a close, guests took to their feet, and with ribbon wands in hand, gave the couple a fabulous reception as they walked back down the aisle, pausing for a wonderful photo or two.

As the couple and wedding party moved to the upper terrace for drinks and photos, a few guests waited in the ceremony space, taking pictures and chatting excitedly about what had just taken place.  I had such lovely feedback from them, and it was great to be able to speak with some of their loved ones.

It was a wonderful start to their celebrations, and as I started my walk back up to the top, I left them all with beaming smiles, eagerly awaiting all that was to come next.

A huge congratulations to Nick and Yasmeen, and thank you to their families for making me so welcome.

I wish you all a future filled with love and happiness.

Jenny
