Why did you join Knight Ceremonies? 

I have known Jenny for a little while now and was lucky enough to get to see what she does at a ceremony, and I knew immediately that it was something that I really wanted to do! 

Seeing Jenny in action before the ceremony and taking care of all of the little details so that it ran smoothly, was something that really inspired me, and I knew that I naturally have the skills to do this. I love to help people, so I thoroughly enjoyed my glimpse behind the scenes, and I must admit I was hooked instantly! 

Hearing kind words from a family member at this particular ceremony showed me just what a difference a celebrant can make, and it really resonated with me. 

Favourite thing about being a celebrant at Knight Ceremonies?: 

Making a difference to people, whether they are celebrating a life, love or loss. It is an honour and I look forward to helping both couples and families celebrate their special occasion in a personal way. 

I feel excited about being part of a fun, unique and active team that delivers an experience to meet their clients’ individual requirements. 

Hobbies/Interests: 

Travelling, shopping, spending time with my children (well, grown-up ‘children’!!), learning new skills, charity walks. 

Fave TV show: 

Too many to list, but mainly dramas! Grey's Anatomy, Chicago PD, and Silent Witness, to name a few.

Fave music/band: 

I like all kinds of music depending on my mood, but I do like Coldplay, Adele & Ed Sheeran. I got to meet my teenage crush a few years ago - Matt Goss from Bros!! 

Food you love: 

My favourite food has to be Mexican!! But I do love a lamb roast dinner. 

Food you hate: 

There’s not much to be honest, but things like jellied eels, liver, and goat's cheese are not for me! 

Celeb that you admire (and why): 

Audrey Hepburn - she was the ultimate example of determination, grace and beauty. My daughter is named after one of her most memorable characters - Eliza Doolittle! 

Special talents/party trick? 

None that would get me onto ‘BGT’, but if you asked my children, they’d say annoying them is a talent!!

I am a qualified beauty therapist, training to become a counsellor, and I have identical twin daughters in their twenties, as well as a teenage son.
